The short version. The free scorer reads your file inside your own browser and never sends it anywhere. The paid board stores the records you keep, because otherwise there would be no board tomorrow. We do not sell, share, rent or trade your customer data with anyone, ever, and we do not use it to build lists for anybody else.
The free scorer
When you drop a CSV into the scorer, the file is read by JavaScript running in your browser on your own machine. It is parsed, mapped, scored and displayed locally. No part of that file is transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no upload, no account, no login and no server-side processing.
Close the tab and it is gone. Refresh the page and you start from the sample data again.
The one thing the scorer does keep is the name, company and callback number you type into the "your details" box, so the drafts come out ready to send. That is stored in your own browser's local storage on your own device. It never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
The paid board
The board is the product you pay for, and it has to remember things — otherwise your list would vanish every night. When you import records into a board, those records are stored so the board is still there when you open it tomorrow.
Where that storage lives today: the board currently runs as a private application hosted on claude.ai, and its records are held in that application's private store, accessible only to you and anyone you deliberately share the board with. We are working on moving it onto our own infrastructure. When that happens, this page will say so before it is true, not after.
You can export every record as a CSV at any time from inside the board, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing the address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect about you
If you only use the free scorer
Nothing. No account, no email address, no cookie set by us, no analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising network. We do not know you were here.
If you email us
We get your email address and whatever you wrote, and we keep it so we can reply and so we know not to contact you again if you ask us not to. That is all it is used for.
If you run a board
The records you import, the outcomes you log, and the settings you enter — your company name, close rate, target, the people who make the calls. That is what makes the board work.
One thing that does leave your browser
These pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google's servers see your IP address and browser details when a page loads, the same as on a very large number of websites. It has nothing to do with your CSV — your file is never part of that request — but it is a request to a third party and we would rather tell you than not. If that bothers you, a content blocker will stop it and the pages still work.
Contacting your customers is your responsibility
Backlog drafts messages. It does not send them. Nothing in this product places a call, sends a text or sends an email on your behalf — you copy the draft and send it yourself, from your own phone or inbox.
That means you are the sender, and the rules that apply to senders apply to you: the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and whatever your state adds on top. The board helps — it holds back anyone marked do-not-contact or opted out, warns you inside quiet hours, limits how often a record can be offered, and labels each draft as a reply to something the customer started or as marketing. Those are guardrails, not a compliance guarantee, and they are not legal advice.
Children
This is a tool for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this changes in a way that affects what happens to your data, the date at the top changes and the change is described here. We will not quietly widen what we do with your records and update the page afterwards.
